Choosing the right Band or Musician is just as important if you want a great party

You want a Band or Musician who will actually turn up on the day. You’ll need ones who will play the right music. Of course they need to help eveyone dance and have a good time. Also you want to pay the right price for a Band or Musician.

How do we know?

As Musicians ourselves for many years, we have been asked just about every question possible, we have dealt with all nationalities and demographics and have a really good understanding of what makes a great party when hiring a Band or Musician. Our Database has Bands and Musicians spread across the UK. This means we aim to give you access to probably the UK’s largest pool of Bands and Musicians.

Some are very experienced, others are novices. Some Bands have a large show with lots of lighting effects and sound, others have a smaller, more compact/discreet show. Many that you find here will have over 15 years experience in filling dance floors for a variety of clients and event types. While others prefer to focus on a particular style, which may or may not suit your needs. Prices depend on the level of experience you need, music styles you’d like and equipment level you want.

Band and Musicians’ Prices

There are a huge range of prices here as you might expect. As a very rough guideline, a Band or Musician who is much cheaper than others you may get quotes from, probably has less experience, maybe less talent, maybe less flexible. This is not a 100% rule, but gives you a guide that the more you pay, the better experience you and your guests are likely to have

Of course bear in mind that a Solo musician will generally be much cheaper that a 5pc Band, but may not have the same impact.

Consider the space that’s available in your chosen venue! Don’t expect to cram a multi player band into a corner, it’s just not going to work. If you’re choosing a band, you probably want the big impact and show, so why cram them into a corner and make that impossible?

If you only have a smaller space, consider a Soloist or Duo who, perhaps with some backing tracks, can still sound as big as a larger band, but will take up much less space
